     Ming Ming Wang was born in QingDao City, China. At age eight, Ming Ming Wang, was nominated as one of the  members in Seagull Performing Arts where he started his life journey in GuZeng (Chinese zither).  With outstanding    achievements, he was enrolled in prestigious high school of performing arts in QingDao City, 39 High School.  By age fourteen, Ming Ming Wang had accomplished numeral National GuZeng exams and contests, including but not limited to the following: 
    
      1993 received third award from National Instrumental Contest; 
      1995 received second award from National Progression Cup; 
      1998 received Honor Award from National Chinese Classical Instrument Contest; 
      2002 received First prize of the Honor Award became the first Honor Award container ever in QingDao City history; 
      2003 received the first honor in Professional Instrument, and with such honor Ming Ming Wang was the only one of the three hundred applicants enrolled to QingDao University of Music; 
      same year, QingDao University of Music recommended Ming Ming Wang to the highest music institution --- China Conservatory where synthesizes study and research of Chinese traditional music, focusing performance, composition, theory, and music technology.

           China Conservatory also features the best Chinese traditional music and instrument processors, including GuZeng Educator, Professor Li Lin, who was Ming Ming Wang's master during the period he studied.

           Mr. Wang's growing enthusiasm in Guzheng has amplified his desire to cultivate its beauty and history.  In 2004, he has decided to come to the United States to investigate the western music culture to find a way to integrate with this 2500 year ancient instrument.  "There are more than 5 million people in Asian societies have enligtened Chinese zither, my aspiration is to find more individules and organizations who would appreciate and embrace Chinese Classical Music in the modern world beyond Asian society." 王明明 青島市人  著名青年古箏演奏家  從八歲開始學習古箏,被選拔青島市小海燕藝術團團員。十二歲以優異的成績被青島市著名的藝術高中39中錄取。在古箏的學習期間,王明明14歲便以優異的成績通過了國家的多項古箏音樂考級。在國家級的比賽中,也有著十分出色的表現, 獲得過:

      1993年全國賽樂器組第三名  

      1995年全國〈建業杯〉第二名  
      1998年中國樂器大賽〈榮譽獎〉
      在2002年〈CCTV 全國電視大賽〉中獲得一等獎的第一名, 並一舉打破了青島市古箏無大獎的空白。
     2003年王明明以器樂專業第一名的優異成績,在300多位古箏專業考生的競爭中脫影而出,考入了青島大學音樂學院。在同年,被青島大學音樂學院推薦到中國音樂的最高學府-中國音樂學院繼續進行深造,並從師于著名古箏教育家林玲教授。

     2004年,懷著把古箏音樂發揚到美國社會的初衷,王明明毅然決定來美國深造發展。隨著王明明在深入的瞭解了古箏在美國的發展後,他很高興的瞭解到不同膚色國籍的人對古箏音樂的喜愛。古箏教育在國外還是處於很蒙朧的階段,學習的人群也都局限於華人.為了使古箏這門歷史悠久的藝術可以讓更多的美國主流人士接受並有興趣去學習,王明明與許多的國外藝術家進行合作與探索不同的音樂,並獲得外國專家們的讚譽 :"觸動心靈的音樂,傳統與現代風格的結晶".與此同時,王明明正籌畫把古箏的音樂與心理治療學結合在一起,希望用紓壓的音樂治療法讓更多的人士在現代繁碌的社會亦能調冶身心。王明明的夢想是讓全世界聆聽中華民族的美妙聲音.

     古箏在中國已有2500多年的歷史,既善於表現優美抒情的曲調,又能夠抒發氣勢磅礴的樂章。古人曾用"彈箏奮逸響,新聲妙入神"、"坐客滿筵都不語,一行哀雁十三聲"的生動詩句,描繪了箏的演奏藝術達到令人神弛的境地。隨著古箏這門高雅藝術的發展,據不完全統計,在中國,學習古箏的人數已經有五百萬人次之多。在國外華人聚集的地區如新加坡,美國,日本,古箏的教育也在如火如荼的開展著。
